Milestones

I was admitted to the Bar November 13, 2006, and I live in East Lansing with my husband, Josh Freeman, my son, Wyatt, and my dog, Scooter.

Education and Activities

I grew up in Okemos and graduated from Okemos High School. A Spartan through and through, I received a Bachelors of Science Degree from Michigan State University in 2001, and earned my Juris Doctorate Degree from Michigan State College of Law in 2006. I completed State Civil Mediation Training and hold a Certificate of Completion in the area of Probate and Estate Planning issued by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan.

I have been a guest lecturer at the Women’s Institute for Financial Education Second Saturday Lansing Divorce Workshop and for the Ingham County Bar Association, Probate & Trust Section on Protective Orders with Medicaid Planning in Probate Court. You may have also seen me as a Co-Host of The Capitol View television show for the 2017 and 2018 season.
