I was born and raised in the Ovid-Elsie area. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Michigan State University in 1999 and my Juris Doctor Degree from Thomas Cooley Law School. I was employed by the State of Michigan for the last 13 years, mainly as an investigator of Medicaid providers.

Personal
I am an avid Detroit Pistons and Lions fan. I have been married to my wife, Amanda, for 23 years and have one son, Jacob, who recently started his college career at Michigan State University.
