I was born in Detroit, Michigan, on October 2, 1956, and admitted to the Bar, 1982, Michigan. I married my beautiful wife, Kathy, in 1981 and am a father of 6 children.

Education

Received Bachelors of Arts Degree from John Wesley College, 1977 (with honors) and went on to obtain a Juris Doctorate Degree in 1981 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

State Bar of Michigan, Family Law Section; Ingham County Bar Association; Christian Legal Society.

Courts

Admitted to practice in all State Courts of Michigan, the United States Federal District Court of Michigan (Eastern and Western Districts), and the United States Court of Appeals (Sixth Circuit).

Personal

Engaged in the private practice of law since 1982 in the greater Lansing area, including Ingham, Eaton, Clinton, Shiawassee, and Jackson counties Practice areas have included general practice involving family law, general civil litigation, estate planning, bankruptcy, and probate court matters. Involved with the Christian Conciliation Service of Central Michigan since 1982 as a founding Board Member. Active member of Spirit of Christ Church of Haslett and involved in various charitable and pro bono legal services organizations.
